Now the new (unibody) MacBook and MacBook Pro are out, I’m itching to upgrade my not-so-old MacBook Pro to the latest model. I know there’s no need to upgrade, because my current MBP is enough of doing intense works.
FYI, these are the BTO specs:
- 2.5GHz intel core 2 duo Penryn Processor,
- Hi-res 17″ (1920x1200) anti-glare matte LED screen,
- 4Gigs DDR2 memory,
- 512Gigs GeForce 8600M GT, and
- 7200rpm 200Gigs hard drive.
Follow up:
I have a story about how powerful my MBP. It was when I have a deadline to catch and I was doing many works at once without even know how many programs I’ve opened. Then I realized (and take the screen shot) been doing Flash animation and scripting, opened 3dsmax using WindowsXP via vmware fusion, working on vector art using Illustrator, Photoshop editing, and browsing IGN.com! Not to mention listening to iTunes. And.. I didn’t feel any slowing down.
Occasionally I use external monitor, as you can see there are 4 Spaces and each has two screens (1920x1200 for MBP screen and 1280x1024 for external monitor)
